Professor Doug Henderson AO Bequest

During Asbestos Awareness Month Flinders University are highlighting the legacy of Professor Doug Henderson AO – who was a world-leading pathologist and an expert in asbestos related disorders.

A bequest from Professor Henderson to Flinders University in 2018 has enabled his research into mesothelioma and asbestos related lung disease to continue. This critical research, now led by Associate Professor Sonja Klebe, aims improve and prolong the lives of those who suffer from mesothelioma.
